Welcome to Nybo your 1 stop shop to connect with your neighbours and relish your neighbourhood. The terms & conditions listed below will explain your rights as Nybo member and what we expect of you as a Nybo member.

There is a favourite line that I can recollect from my memories "with great power comes great responsibility", Nybo empowers you by connecting you with your neighbours and neighbourhoods. As a Nybo Member we expect you to comply with all our website terms and conditions. Nybo reserves all rights to change the terms and conditions, which will be posted to you via email or your preferred communication mode as per your account preferences.


Our service to you


Nybo is a fairly new platform created to connect neighbours which means Nybo may go through lots of changes which will be implemented dynamically and sometimes the service may be down temporarily during the upgrades.


Accepting the Terms


In order to avail our Services, you must agree to the Terms & conditions, refusing to comply with our policies may mean no more access to Nybo. By accepting the terms and conditions on the registration form you agree to all the terms and conditions set by us.


Eligibility & Address Verification


  • You must be at least 12 years old before you can sign up as a member on Nybo.
  • It’s a compulsory to use your Actual name and provide your current residential address when you register.
  • Nybo reserves all rights to verify the information you provide during registration.
  • To become a Member of Nybo we require you to authenticate your address of residence through a verification process determined by Nybo.
  • Should you sign up to Nybo via any social networking site such as Facebook, you will remain bound by the terms of those services when you are using them and you provide us with the authority to copy your Facebook membership details to Nybo.
  • In any circumstances you must not share your account password.
  • You may not use your personal Member account for commercial gain.
  • People with criminal records will have access denied to our website.
  • After becoming a member if your behaviour proves to be harmful to the community, Nybo reserves the rights to terminate your access permanently.
  • Nybo reserves rights to deny access to any new member.

Content "who owns it"


All of the content and information you post on Nybo is owned by you. You can decide with whom you would like to share your content with it may be people in next street or few other colonies.


Content on the Services


The information you share in our website will not be shared with third parties without your consent.


Information posted on Nybo it may be a public notice or private message Nybo doesn't take any responsibility on the authenticity on the content. When it comes to consuming the resources posted on Nybo will be at your own risk.

We do not endorse or guarantee the truthfulness or accuracy of the content posted as reviews or experiences.


Code of Conduct


Nybo is all about connecting people and making pleasant experiences with people we care about. We take care to protect the rights of all Nybo members and we expect all members to follow the Code of Conduct and treat others as you would like to be treated.


Be truthful

  • Use your real name, photo and address.
  • Join as an individual not as a family or business.
  • Be truthful particularly when recommending services, selling items or providing information.

Be Courteous

  • Treat everyone with respect.
  • If you disagree, do it in a respectful way.
  • Everyone deserves a chance to be part of the conversation so don’t over post.
  • Give people the benefit of the doubt.

Be polite

  • Use common-sense when it comes to posting or sharing stuff, if it isn't something you would discuss with your family then don't put it on Nybo either.
  • Take the time to add a photo and to fill out your profile.
  • Recommend local businesses but don’t self-promote, campaign or spam.

Be helpful

  • Answer questions and share relevant information.
  • Help members in need.
  • Give away or sell things you don’t need.
  • Share information on safety issues, crime or any fraudulent activities.
  • Talk about things that matter to your local area.
  • Spread the word about local events.
  • Discuss community-wide issues without campaigning.

We monitor your activity on the website any unacceptable behaviour will mean access suspension and discussing with the member.

Login Information & Security


You are responsible for protecting the password that is associated with your Nybo account. Please use a “strong” password (a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols) with your account. Nybo cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure of protecting passwords.

Use of Nybo (including posting content, communicating with others, or changing your account settings, etc.) using your Member Account will be understood to be your use. You must contact us immediately of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password or any other security breach.


Email & SMS Registration


Member Accounts are automatically set up to receive email communication and mobile text messages from Nybo. We may continue to provide this information to you until you indicate otherwise. You may opt out of receiving email communication by altering the email settings contained within your profile.


Push Notification Alerts


Nybo's Push notifications messages are not intended to replace any primary phone service, such as a traditional landline or mobile phone that may be used to contact emergency services.

Push Notifications for any urgent alerts may not be delivered if your phone is in an out of service areas or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. In addition, within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of the user’s wireless carrier may interfere with message delivery.

You acknowledge that Nybo's Notification messages may not be received in a timely fashion and that your wireless carrier does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered.


Community Leads


As a Community Leads, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

  • You will act in the best interests of the Nybo Community (colony) that you are the Lead of at all times;
  • You will not act in any way that will discredit or damage the reputation of Nybo.
  • You will accept and behave by the Nybo Code of Conduct and ensure that you do not engage in inappropriate conduct;
  • You will not agree to be interviewed in your capacity as a Nybo Lead or in any other way representing Nybo, by any media outlet (including TV, radio, print media, or other online media (including bloggers) without prior consent from Nybo;
  • You understand that a Nybo Community Leads role is a volunteer position and you will not be receiving payment or compensation of any kind during the tenure of you serving as Nybo Lead.
  • You will not use your position as a Nybo Lead role to gain personal financial gain or reward (including employment or gain for your organisation.
  • You acknowledge that while representing Nybo at community events and dealing with partners you will conduct yourself in an appropriate manner.
  • You agree that all moderated and/or removed posts must remain confidential and must not be released to the public or discussed with any other third party.

Nybo reserves the right to terminate your status as a Community Lead immediately in the event of any conduct by the Community Lead which we consider to be unacceptable, or in the event of a failure by the Suburb Lead to comply with any of these Terms.
